Fun Facts:

Myth: Rafting is dangerous
Busted:
While there is inherent risk in doing anything in a wilderness settings, there is nowhere on Earth with a safer rafting industry than here in B.C. Members of the BCROA adhere to industry leading standards that surpass government regulations. Ask any guide: they’re more concerned about their safety driving in city traffic than rafting on the river.

Myth: Rafting is expensive
Busted:
There aren’t many guided outdoor activities that are as affordable as rafting – trips start at $99 for a half day. And the value is unmatched: excellent food, gear included, professional guides, shuttles and sometimes free photos from your adventure. Even multi-day expeditions are good value when you include the costs of charter flights and how much you save by not being able to spend a cent for two weeks.

Rick Mercer Report comes to Raft
& Snorkel with the Salmon

We had a great opportunity to host the Rick Mercer Report on our tour this past August. To view the official show from this visit please view http://youtu.be/_PX-H4Uid3w

We also had some Rick Mercer groupies following us around on the river and at the end of the day. You can see some of their video at http://youtu.be/OejqBMps7Dw and http://youtu.be/scVrOHmwyYI

We will be offering tours again on the Puntledge River for Paddlefest weekend and Nimpkish tours from May to the end of July! Don’t forget – even if it is a cool spring we will have amazing water levels!
