Nimpkish River Wilderness Adventure

Full Day - $139 adult, $109 youth

Experience the majestic river scenery and whitewater of Vancouver Island - join us on our Nimpkish River Wilderness Adventure! It has it all, from running the rapids through "The Slot" and "Iron Mine" to limestone canyons and surfing holes. Rafters have seen elk, cougar, black bear, deer and eagles on this adventure. Paddle through spectacular limestone canyons and swim alongside in crystal clear water. Riverside lunch on a sandy beach to fuel up for the rest of the trip. Suitable for families with quiet floats and exciting splashes that includes all the extras - swimming, cliff jumping, caving and river kayaking. Youth must be 8 years old to participate in this tour.
Season: May 1 until mid August. Late August trips are weather dependent.

Nimpkish River Whitewater

Full Day - $139/person

This tour has the best whitewater on the Nimpkish - trading off colder early season water for bigger thrills. We start with a pour-over at Duncan Pool to get everyone accustomed to the water temperature. Then we run the Ledge, Upper Grotto, Lower Grotto, Little Rock Garden, Rock Garden and Twisted Sisters before we have lunch at the Davie Creek confluence. More rapids ahead, including Champagne Rock and Woss Falls. Minimum 14 years of age and 90 lbs. to participate in this tour.
